Shop operator Rajesh Kesarwani tells Local 18 that this shop, started from the time of his grandfather and father, is today famous in entire Raipur for its Mawa Bati and Moong Dal Halwa.
As soon as winter arrives, there are long queues of customers from morning till night. Mawa Baati available at the shop is prepared in pure khoya and desi ghee. Saffron, cashews, almonds and special dry fruits mix are added to it, which makes its taste even more delicious. The price of one piece of Mawa Bati is Rs 30 while the price of one kg is Rs 480. Not only the local people but even the people coming from outside do not leave without tasting it.
Moong dal halwa is also a favorite
Apart from this, the hot moong dal halwa here is also considered a special dish of winter, which people eat with great enthusiasm. Halwa is available for Rs 200 per pav and hundreds of plates are sold daily. The special tawa milk available at the shop is also included in the favorite list of the customers. Milk without Rabdi is available for Rs 60 while milk with Rabdi is available for Rs 90.
The most important thing is that Rabdi Lassi is available only at this shop in Raipur. Here Rabdi Lassi is given for Rs 90 and Lassi without Rabdi is given for Rs 60 per glass. Taste lovers call it the best lassi of Raipur. People of all ages visit this shop which is open from 12 noon to 11:30 pm.
