New Delhi. Maruti Suzuki’s much awaited mid-size SUV – Victoris, has been launched in India some time ago. This car is getting a lot of love from buyers in India. More than 30,000 buyers bought this SUV of the company in 2 months. Victoris has been included as a flagship product in the Arena portfolio of the brand. Earlier there were reports that it will be named Escudo and it will get a 3-row seating layout. However, it is a 5-seater SUV and directly competes with vehicles like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, MG Hector, Tata Harrier. The special thing is that Maruti Suzuki has made it its ‘Halo’ product, in which many ‘first-ever’ and some special features have been given for the brand. Here we are telling about these features.
- Maruti Suzuki’s first car with Level-2 ADAS – The country’s largest car manufacturer had till now stayed away from Level-2 ADAS features. But with the ADAS L2 safety suite in Victoris, it has become the first car of the brand in which this technology has been provided. It has many active safety features like emergency braking, lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control.
- Under-floor mounted CNG tank-Tata Motors and Hyundai have been using dual-cylinder CNG technology for a long time. Customers were demanding similar technology from Maruti Suzuki for a long time, which has now been completed. In Victoris, the CNG tank is placed under the boot floor, which provides a lot of space in the trunk.
- Powered tailgate with gesture control – This is also the first time for Maruti Suzuki that it has been provided with a powered tailgate. The bootlid of the Victoris can also be opened with a kick-to-open gesture or the key fob. Although the actual capacity of the boot has not been revealed yet, but this time Maruti Suzuki has paid special attention to the boot space, as it was a big issue in the Grand Vitara.
- Maruti’s biggest display till date – Maruti Suzuki has also taken a big step in the matter of screen. It has the largest touchscreen ever. The new SmartPlay Pro The instrument cluster is also now completely digital, with a new 10.25-inch LCD display.
- 8-Speaker Surround Sound System – In the competition, we have seen great sound systems from brands like JBL, Harman and Bose. Maruti Suzuki till now did not offer a sound system with more than 6 speakers, but with Victoris this limit has also been broken. Maruti Suzuki Victoris has been provided with Infinity’s 8-speaker surround sound system, which also has Dolby Atmos 5.1 channel support.
