Manali Hotel Associations Elections: In the Manali Hotelier Association elections of Kullu district in Himachal, Roshan Thakur became the president and Man Chand became the vice president. Roshan Thakur defeated Subhash Thakur by 179 votes, Man Chand defeated Ramesh by 147 votes.
Manali. The Hotelier Association in the tourist city of Manali, Himachal Pradesh finally got its new president on Thursday. Roshan Thakur has won the voting by defeating his rival Subhash Thakur by about 179 votes. On the other hand, voting was also held for the post of Vice President, in which Man Chand won by defeating Ramesh by 147 votes.
According to the information, out of 685 voters of Manali Hotelier Association, 604 voters exercised their vote. In the elections, voting was held for the post of President and Vice President, in which a tough competition was seen between Roshan Thakur and Subhash Thakur for the post of President, while on the other hand, a tough competition was seen between Man Chand Thakur and Ramesh for the post of Vice President.
The voting process started from morning itself, which continued till 5:00 pm. Then counting of votes started and Roshan Thakur got 390 votes, while 211 people voted for Subhash Thakur. During this, Roshan Thakur has won by defeating his rival Subhash Thakur by about 179 votes. On the other hand, Man Chand got 375 votes for the post of Vice President, while 228 people voted for Ramesh. During this time, Man Chand has won by defeating Ramesh by 147 votes.
Roshan Thakur got 390 votes, while 211 people voted for Subhash Thakur.
After winning the election for the post of President of Manali Hotelier Association, while meeting the media, Roshan Thakur expressed his gratitude to all the members of the organization. He said that this victory belongs to all the members of the organization. He said that whatever problems the organization faces in the coming time, he will take them up prominently and concrete steps will also be taken to further promote tourism in Manali.
Officials were already elected on three posts
Manali Hotelier Association Administrator and Tehsildar Manali Anil Rana said that today the elections of Manali Hotelier Association have been completed peacefully. He said that today voting was held for the post of President and Vice President and Roshan Thakur has won the post of President. Man Chand Vijay held the post of Vice President. He said that apart from this, the Secretary, Joint Secretary, Treasurer and Press Secretary had already been elected unopposed.
