Material:
1 cup dates
1.5 tbsp peanut butter
salt as per taste
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 cup oats
1/4 cup roasted peanuts
150 grams dark chocolate, melted
Method of preparation:
-First of all prepare the caramel. For this, soak the dates in boiling water for 20-25 minutes. After this, drain the water and put the dates in the mixer grinder. Now add peanut butter, vanilla essence and salt to make a smooth and creamy caramel sauce. This will give the basic flavor of the bars.
-Separate about 1/4th part of the prepared mixture. Now combine the oats and remaining caramel mixture to make the bottom layer of the bar. Grind it until it becomes flour-like consistency.
-Take a rectangular baking tin and line it with baking paper. Spread the oats and caramel mixture evenly in the tin. Press it lightly with your fingers. Pour the reserved caramel sauce on top and sprinkle chopped peanuts. Freeze it for about 3 hours so that the mixture sets.
-After freezing, cut the prepared bars into slices. Now dip in melted dark chocolate and place on baking paper. Before serving, freeze them for about 1 hour so that the chocolate sets properly.
