Make corn soup at home like this-
Material:
Sweet corn (canned or fresh) – 1 cup
Onion – 1 medium size, finely chopped
Green chilli – 1, finely chopped (as desired)
Garlic – 2-3 cloves, crushed
Butter – 1 tablespoon
Flour – 1 tablespoon (to thicken the soup)
Milk – 1 cup
Water/vegetable stock – 2 cups
Salt – as per taste
Black pepper – ½ tsp
Cream – 2 tbsp (optional, for more creamy texture)
Green coriander or green onion – for decoration
Method of preparation:
-First of all heat butter in a pan. Add onion and garlic to it and fry until it turns golden brown.
-Now add green chillies and fry for 1 minute.
-Add flour to it, mix well and fry lightly for 1-2 minutes so that the flour does not taste raw.
-Add milk gradually and keep stirring continuously so that no lumps are formed.
-Now add water or vegetable stock and cook on medium flame for 5-7 minutes.
-Add sweet corn to it and cook on low flame for 10 minutes.
