Laddu Recipe: Desi laddus are considered very beneficial for providing warmth, energy and nutrition to the body in winter. Housewife Hema Devi told that laddus are made very easily from peanuts, jaggery and pulses. The ingredients required to make it are peanuts one cup, sesame seeds one cup, roasted chana dal half cup, cardamom 5 seeds, dry ginger powder one teaspoon, ghee two teaspoons, jaggery 400 grams (about 1½ cups).

First of all, fry the peanuts in a pan on low flame and after it cools down, separate its peels. Similarly, lightly fry sesame seeds and roasted chana dal and take them out in a separate plate. Now add peanuts and cardamom in the mixer and grind them coarsely. Similarly, grind sesame seeds and gram dal coarsely.
Now mix peanuts, sesame seeds and gram dal powder in a big bowl, add dry ginger powder to it and mix well. Heat ghee in a pan, add jaggery and melt it on low flame. When the jaggery melts completely, turn off the gas and add the prepared mixture to it and mix well. Let the mixture cool slightly, then tie the laddu with your hands and coat it with sesame seeds on top.

Sesame and ghee provide relief from joint pain, while jaggery helps in removing anemia. Peanuts and gram dal provide plenty of protein and energy, which maintains strength in the body.
