Darbhanga: Kadima is a popular seasonal vegetable. Which is made in many ways. But if you prepare it with mustard masala, its taste becomes so amazing that people will forget the taste of fish. This special recipe is prepared with a mixture of mustard, garlic, onion, ginger and traditional spices, which is very easy to make.
To make this special curry of Kadima, first clean 250 grams of Kadima, cut it into small pieces and fry them lightly in oil. After this, prepare a thick paste by grinding 2 tomatoes, 1 onion, 2 garlic cloves and 1 inch ginger in a mixer. This paste will give real taste and thickness to the vegetable.
How to make Kadime vegetable?
In the following method, heat oil in a pan and add bay leaf, dry chilli and 1 teaspoon mustard and temper it. As soon as the mustard starts crackling, add the prepared tomato-onion ground masala paste and fry well for about 5 minutes. After roasting the masala, add 1 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon red chili powder, 1/2 teaspoon Kashmiri chili powder and salt as per taste and mix the mixture.
When the spices are cooked well and start releasing oil, then add the pre-fried Kadima pieces to the spices and cover with a lid and let it cook on low flame for 10 minutes. Finally add water as per your requirement and let the gravy come to a boil.
Can store for 2-3 days
