Chhattisgarh Politics: Chhattisgarh Cabinet Minister Ramvichar Netam said on the status of paddy procurement that at present the process of paddy procurement is going on smoothly in the entire state without any major hindrance. He said that clear instructions have been given to the officials to solve any kind of problem of the farmers.
Minister Netam said that complaints have come to light at some places due to technical reasons related to Agristech. Many farmers have faced problems due to non-updation of information in their bank accounts, but the government has decided that all farmers will be able to get their accounts corrected by December 15. For this, Tehsildars have been directed to organize camps and solve the problems of the farmers on the spot, so that no one faces any problem.
Taking aim at the opposition, he said that unnecessary ruckus is being created regarding paddy procurement, whereas the situation on the ground is normal. He said that it is wrong to create a hue and cry over paddy procurement, because neither the procurement has stopped nor any injustice is being done to the farmers.
During this, Ramvichar Netam also commented on Rahul Gandhi’s announcement of giving training to Congress District Presidents. He sarcastically said that giving training is a good thing, we welcome it. But Congress should give such training to its workers in which things like “making gold from potatoes” are taught. He said that the direction in which Congress is working is completely impractical.
Netam further said that Congress leaders should give training to increase the production of chilli or should tell some new technique of making gold by adding potatoes, because their statements are often full of such unrealistic things.
He quipped that the condition of Congress has become such that while taking training, its position is decreasing from majority to almost zero. Netam taunted that to his knowledge, chillies do not grow underground and if potatoes are sown on one side, gold will emerge on the other side – only Congress workers can say such things.
In the end he said that Congress adopted such policies that even the “hen that lays the golden eggs” was destroyed. He said that the actions and statements of Congress leaders have made a mockery of democracy, and the public is seeing everything clearly.
On the other hand, PCC Chief Deepak said that Ram Vichar Netam should have knowledge, PM Modi had talked about making gold from potatoes, Rahul Gandhi raises questions about the condition of the country and the interest of the common people, while BJP feels irritated.
