Ingredients to make Carrot Halwa: –
, Take 01 kg grated carrot.
, Take 01 liter milk.
, Take 01 cup sugar.
, Take 1/2 cup ghee.
, Take 10-12 green cardamoms.
, Take 1/4 cup dry fruits (cashew nuts, almonds, raisins).
, Take 1/4 cup mawa.
Method of making Carrot Halwa: –
1. To make carrot halwa, first wash the carrots thoroughly and grate them. Chop the dry fruits finely. Crush the cardamom seeds.
2. Heat milk in a heavy bottom pan on medium flame.
3. Heat ghee in a separate pan and fry the grated carrots until they turn golden brown, then add them to the milk.
4. Cook the mixture on low flame while stirring continuously until the milk thickens and the carrots are completely cooked.
5. When the mixture becomes thick, add sugar and mawa and mix well.
6. Finally, add crushed cardamom and finely chopped dry fruits, take out the halwa in a serving dish, and garnish with the remaining dry fruits.
