To make carrot halwa, if you take one kilogram of carrots, you will need 2 spoons of ghee, 1 liter of milk, 1 glass of sugar and 4-5 cardamoms. If you want, you can also use dry fruits for decoration and taste.
How to make Halwa
The method of making halwa is very simple. First of all, peel and wash the carrots thoroughly and then grate them. Now put a pan on the gas and add two spoons of ghee in it and fry the grated carrots well. Keep in mind that the halwa should not burn from inside, so keep stirring it frequently. When the carrots turn nicely red, add sufficient amount of milk in it. The quantity of milk should be more, due to which the taste of halwa will be very strong.
After adding milk, keep stirring the mixture until the milk gets completely burnt. After this, grind four-five cardamoms and mix them in the halwa, which will double its taste. When carrots and milk are cooked well, add sugar as per your taste. After adding sugar, fry the halwa for about 15 minutes. When the carrot halwa is completely ready, you can decorate it with dry fruits and serve it hot or cold to the guests at home.
