This place gives a feeling of natural peace and tranquility to the tourists. People enjoy picnics throughout the day with family and friends. On the occasion of New Year, a fair-like atmosphere is created, due to which local shopkeepers and small businessmen also earn good income.

This lake is surrounded by mountains, forests and natural greenery under Boarijor block, which gives a different feeling of peace to the tourists, the environment around Narayanpur Lake is very calm and natural, here the water falling from the mountains, the greenery of the forests and the clean water of the lake together present a picturesque view, the special thing is that due to very few people in the district knowing about this lake, there is not much crowd here, due to less crowd the water of the lake and The surrounding area remains quite clean.
Godda’s Biodiversity Park is considered to be the largest park in the entire Santhal Pargana. Spread over about 35 acres, this park is a center of attraction for people of every section. There is a children’s garden for children, open grounds for the youth and the elderly, proper seating arrangements in different parts of the park and a peaceful environment. There are many gardens full of natural beauty including MP Theatre, Cactus House, Rose Garden in the park. Till now this park was open only on Saturdays and Sundays, but from December 31, it has been decided to open it for tourists throughout the year. On the occasion of New Year, a large number of people from Godda, Deoghar, Dumka, Pakur and Sahibganj districts of Santhal Pargana come here for picnic, which creates a festive atmosphere in the park.

The famous Yogini Sthan temple of Godda, one of the 52 Shaktipeeths, is a major center of faith for the devotees. Especially on January 1, the first day of the year, devotees from different states of the country reach here to have darshan of the Mother Goddess. It is believed that by bowing one’s head at the feet of Mother Goddess on the first day of the new year, the whole year passes with peace, happiness and prosperity.
This temple is situated amidst hills, mountains and dense forests under Pathargama block, where devotees enjoy forest feast along with darshan. A huge crowd of devotees gather for worship in Maa Yogini temple every week on Saturday and Tuesday throughout the year, due to which this place has become a center of religious faith as well as natural beauty.
Chihari mountain, located under Pathargama block of Godda district, has become a center of attraction for tourists and picnic lovers these days. There are ponds, open fields, dense forests and the temple of Maa Durga situated around Chihari mountain, which attracts the people coming here. The beautiful natural view spread around the pond and the small forest of hawthorn present nearby further enhances the beauty of this place. Local resident Sargun Yadav said that although people from the surrounding areas have been coming here every morning and evening to visit, but these days there is a significant increase in the number of tourists. Especially on the occasion of New Year, people from all over the district reach Chihari Pahad to celebrate forest feast and picnic with their family and friends, due to which a festive atmosphere is created here.
