Ingredients for making khichdi
Rice – 200 grams
Urad peeled lentils – 150 grams
Ghee – 2 tablespoons
Salt – as per taste
Coriander leaves – 1 tbsp
Asafoetida – 1 pinch
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Green chili – 2 (finely chopped)
Ginger – 1 inch long piece (finely chopped)
Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
Green peas – 1 small bowl

Recipe for khichdi
First of all, soak rice by adding some water and wash it thoroughly. After this, put ghee in the cooker and heat it. Then add asafetida and cumin seeds to it. After roasting the cumin seeds, add green chillies, ginger, turmeric powder and peas and fry for 2 minutes. Now add rice to this spice and fry the khichdi by stirring with a spoon for 2-3 minutes. When it is roasted, add water four times the amount of dal and rice. Turn off the cooker. After one whistle, let the khichdi cook on low flame for 5 minutes. Now turn off the gas. After the pressure of the cooker is over, open the lid of the cooker. Your slang is ready. Take out the khichdi in a bowl. Garnish with green coriander.
