In Gujarati Sahitya Bhava Samvad, senior authors Tushar Shukla and Reema Shah discussed in detail the literary and cultural activities being created in the Gujarati language.
In the Maithili Sahitya Bhava Samvad, a series of talks were held between Maithili litterateur Shyam Darihare and Dr Kamal Mohan Chunnu on Maithili literature. Shyam Darihare’s new book Baati Kon Jarau was also released on this occasion.
‘Bati Kon Jarau’ is a famous novel in Maithili language. Novelist Shyam Darihare has presented the life struggle of a poor and Dalit woman Shobhana in this novel who was born in a small village of Begusarai district. Being poor and Dalit, he had to face many types of family and social exploitation-oppression in his own village. Shobhana has to face the punishment for her beauty in the form of rape. Even after marriage, Shobhana and her family have to face the atrocities of the bullies.

Shyam Darihare has retired from the post of Divisional Commandant in Jharkhand. Many fiction collections, novels and poetry collections have been published in his Maithili language. You have translated Dharmaveer Bharati’s work Kanupriya into Maithili. He was awarded the Sahitya Akademi Award for the year 2016 for his fiction collection Badki Kaki at Hotmail.com, published in 2013.

Kalinga Literature Festival Bhava Samvad (KLF Bhava Samvad)
The ‘Kalinga Literature Festival Bhava Samvad’ has been started to maintain the literary spirit during the lockdown due to the pandemic. Kalinga Lit Fest had launched ‘KLF Bhava Samvad’ through virtual platform on May 17 last year. It was such a unique initiative that this dialogue, which started with a few litterateurs, continued to grow and writers from all over the country went on joining it.
