The victim student is a resident of Dalhousie in Chamba district and has filed a complaint against six class 12 students for physically and mentally harassing him. In his complaint, the student said that the accused had been harassing him for about two years and also used to make him remove his clothes. During this, he was transformed into a cock and beaten with a hanger pipe and kicks. The student was so threatened by the accused that he started thinking of leaving the school and running away. Even thoughts of committing suicide started coming to mind.

In the complaint lodged at Sujanpur police station, the victim student has stated that his seniors used to beat him and two senior students also used to misbehave with him. The victim student also told in the complaint that when he complained about this to the house warden, he also did not listen to him. On the complaint of the victim student, the police have registered a case under Anti Ragging Act and POCSO Act.

Hamirpur SP Balveer Singh Thakur said that a student of a reputed Sainik School of Sujanpur sub-division and his family members have lodged a complaint at Sujanpur police station on December 3. The students of senior class beat him and behave rudely with him. On the basis of the complaint, the police have registered a case under Ragging and POCSO Act and the matter is being investigated.
