Goa Night Club Fire News: Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra, the main accused in the Goa nightclub fire incident, were presented in Patiala House Court, Delhi. While entering the court premises, Luthra Brothers were seen apologizing with folded hands. The Thara brothers were brought to Patiala House Court at 7:08 pm. He was produced before Judge Twinkle Chawla in Court Number 18. The court approved 2 days transit remand of Luthra brothers. What is the matter of Goa nightclub fire?
A sudden fire broke out during a Bollywood dance party at around 11:45 pm on 6 December 2025 at the ‘Birch by Romeo Lane’ nightclub located in Arpora village in the northern part of Goa. 25 people died in this accident, while more than 50 people were injured.
Investigation revealed that due to indoor fireworks, the fire broke out in the wooden beams of the club’s ceiling, which spread throughout the club within a few minutes. Most of the deaths occurred due to suffocation, because people trapped in the basement could not find a way out.
Both brothers face serious charges of culpable homicide and negligence.
How did serious security flaws come to light?

- The entry and exit routes were very narrow.

According to sources, on December 9, Thai authorities received information that the brothers, who were being searched by Indian agencies, were hiding in Phuket. After receiving input from Indian agencies, Thai police started monitoring the hotels. On December 11, when the two brothers came out of the hotel to have dinner, Thai immigration and police officials verified their identity and travel documents and took them into custody.

According to the investigating agencies, Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra had booked flight tickets to Thailand at the same time when the fire brigade teams in Goa were busy extinguishing the fire and rescuing people. Officials said that both of them had logged in to the online travel website at 1:17 am on December 6 and left for Phuket from Delhi on an Indigo flight at 5:30 am.
