What is needed to make Sarson Ka Saag? ((Sarson Ka Saag Ingredients)
Mustard greens – 400 grams
Spinach – 100 grams
Bathua – 100 grams
Ginger – 1 inch piece
Mustard oil – 2-3 tbsp
finely chopped coriander
Maize flour – 2-3 tbsp
Cumin – tsp
Asafoetida – 1 pinch
Large Tomatoes – 3
Green chili – 2
Turmeric Powder – tsp
Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
Red chili powder – tsp
salt – as per taste
What is needed to make corn bread? (Makki Ki Roti Ingredients)
Corn flour – 500 grams
Wheat flour – 100 grams
salt to taste
Water: 250 ml
butter or ghee

How to make Sarson Ka Saag (Sarson Ka Saag Recipe)
To make sarson ka saag, first clean the mustard greens thoroughly. Remove its stalk and separate the leaves. After this wash the greens well. Now finely chop the greens. Now grind tomatoes, green chilies and ginger finely in a mixer. After this, put mustard greens and 1 cup of water in the cooker and cook till 1 whistle comes. After the whistle, turn off the gas and after a while when the pressure of the cooker is over, then open it. Now put the kadhai on the gas and heat the oil in it. Then add cumin seeds to it and temper it. After this, add turmeric, coriander powder and asafoetida and fry while stirring with a spoon. Now add 3 tbsp corn flour to it and fry while stirring. Add tomato, green chili and ginger paste to it. Fry it till the spices and oil start separating.
Open the lid of the cooker and mash all these vegetables with a spoon. When the masala is roasted, add these vegetables to it. Also add red chili powder and salt on top. Add 1 cup of water and coriander to it and cook the greens on low flame for 10 to 15 minutes while mixing. Keep stirring it in between.
Makki Ki Roti Recipe
Sieve the corn and wheat flour and add salt. After that knead soft dough. After this keep it covered with a wet cloth for 30 minutes. Now make balls of equal size from it. Now spread each ball with your hand and give it the shape of a roti. Make roti and roast it on the pan. If you want, you can also compress it with ghee or butter. While serving with sarson ka saag, serve white butter along with roti.
