Lockdown Extended in Manipur: The state government has given permission to open airline and train ticket booking offices in MSRTC complex from 10 am to 2 pm.
Imphal. The Manipur government has decided to extend the curfew issued in seven districts till June 30 in view of the increasing cases of Kovid-19 infection. In view of the high infection rate, the government had imposed curfew in Imphal West, Imphal East, Thoubal, Kakching, Ukhrul, Churachandpur and Vishnupur on May 8 and later extended it till June 11.
The state home department said on Friday, “The cases of Kovid-19 infection and death in the state remain at a high level and there is a need to continue the restrictions in the state till there is a significant reduction in it.” However, at present some activities will be exempted.

The state government has given permission to open airline and train ticket booking offices at MSRTC complex from 10 am to 2 pm. Along with this, bakery work will also be allowed with limited staff and following Kovid-19 rules. However, from the nine districts where curfew has not been imposed, inter-district movement will continue to be banned in seven districts with curfew.
