The pollution situation can be gauged from the fact that AQI remains in the very serious category at many major stations Ashok Vihar (433), Sonia Vihar (426), Jahangirpuri (451), Rohini (455), Vivek Vihar (451), Wazirpur (447) and Punjabi Bagh (421). These figures show that the pollutants in the air have increased many times more than the normal level.

CPCB stations Shadipur (378), NSIT Dwarka (322) and ITO (411) also showed dangerous pollution levels throughout the day.
