A shocking incident has come to light in Borio block of Sahibganj district of Jharkhand, where Rekha Kumari, the head teacher of the upgraded primary school Chhota Viansi, was attacked in the school premises itself. This entire incident happened on Wednesday when a pit was being dug near the school premises to clear the bushes and drain the dirty water. Meanwhile, village woman Sanjhali Tuddu reached the spot with her husband Narayan Hembram and suddenly started a dispute. It is alleged that Sanjli Tuddu first abused the teacher, then attacked the teacher, threw her on the ground by her hair and beat her mercilessly. During this time an attempt was also made to snatch his mobile. School children, teachers and villagers reached there immediately after the incident. Members of Borio Block Teachers Association also reached the police station and demanded the arrest of those who attacked the teacher. The victim teacher lodged a written complaint at Borio police station, after which the police took swift action and registered a case. Police station in-charge Rohit Kumar Singh said that the matter is being investigated and strict action will be taken against the culprits. Meanwhile, the video of the incident has gone viral on social media, which has been recorded by school children. It is clearly visible in the video that the teacher is being beaten. This incident has now gained momentum and the pressure on the administration to take action has increased.
