Cyclone Ditvah has caused huge devastation in Sri Lanka. Amidst this devastation, the last batch of Indian citizens stranded in Colombo has returned to their country. Passengers loudly raised slogans of ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’ while boarding the plane at Colombo’s Bandaranaike International Airport. Indian High Commissioner Santosh Jha himself saw off all these passengers. A special plane of the Indian Air Force brought him to Thiruvananthapuram.
Due to this storm, heavy rains continue in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. To deal with the situation, 16 teams of SDRF and 12 teams of NDRF have been deployed, while 10 more teams have been dispatched. The Indian Air Force is continuing the rescue operation in Sri Lanka and during this mission a Pakistani citizen was also rescued safely.
In the Delhi blast case, NIA raided several places in South Kashmir in the early hours of Monday. The biggest action took place in Shopian, where the agency raided the house of Maulvi Irfan. He is considered to be the mastermind of the ‘White Collar Terror Module’. Apart from this, raids were also conducted in Koil Pulwama, Chandgam, Malagpora and Sambora. NIA suspects that an organized network is active in the blast case, many of whose clues are linked to Kashmir.
On the other hand, the level of pollution in the National Capital Region continues to remain serious. The Supreme Court will hold an important hearing regarding this today. Encounter between Punjab Police and miscreants in Gurdaspur, two injured
An encounter took place between police and miscreants in Gurdaspur district of Punjab on Sunday. It is being told that both the miscreants were injured in the retaliatory firing by the police. As soon as information about the incident was received, senior police officers reached the spot, cordoned off the area and started investigation.
According to the police, after receiving information about suspicious activities, a team reached the spot. Seeing themselves surrounded, the miscreants started firing at the police, after which the police retaliated. During the encounter, both the miscreants got injured by bullets.
Two pistols have been recovered from the incident site, which are being confiscated and sent for forensic examination. The injured miscreants have been admitted to the Civil Hospital for first aid, where doctors are monitoring their condition.
The police are investigating the matter and trying to find out whether the miscreants were planning any major crime or not. Officials say that further action will be taken after inquiry.

Supreme hearing today on the poisonous air of Delhi-NCR, what solution will CJI Surya Kant find?
The Supreme Court will hold an important hearing today on air pollution that has reached dangerous levels in Delhi-NCR. The air quality in the capital and surrounding areas continues to remain in the ‘severe’ category, in view of which the court has listed the case urgently. Some important instructions are expected from today’s hearing regarding the pollution control strategy of Delhi-NCR.
During the last hearing, Amicus Curiae (Amicus Curiae) Aparajita Singh had expressed the seriousness of the situation before the court and said that the situation in Delhi-NCR has become like a health emergency and immediate intervention is needed. On this, Chief Justice (CJI) Surya Kant had commented that the court does not have any ‘magic wand’ to clear the air as soon as the order is issued.
The CJI had said, ‘What magic wand can the judicial platform wave? We know this is dangerous for Delhi-NCR. Tell us what guidelines should we give so that we can get clean air immediately. The problem arises due to many reasons, it would be a serious mistake to blame any one reason.
CJI Surya Kant further clarified that a solution is not possible through a court order alone, but requires comprehensive and technical advice from experts, environmental scientists and policy-makers. He said that the committees formed by the government on this issue, now the court will see what steps they are taking and what further instructions are needed.

NIA’s early morning action in Delhi blast case, massive raids at many places in Kashmir
In connection with the investigation of Delhi blast case, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted raids in many areas of South Kashmir on Monday. NIA teams raided the house of Maulvi Irfan in Shopian district, who is considered the mastermind of the ‘White Collar Terror Module’.

This action of NIA is part of its efforts to break the network of Delhi blast case and identify all the persons involved in it.

The last group of Indians returned from flood-ravaged Sri Lanka, slogan of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ echoed in Colombo.
The process of returning home of Indians stranded in Sri Lanka due to Cyclone Ditvah has been completed. The last batch of Indian passengers stranded at Colombo’s Bandaranaike International Airport raised slogans of ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’ while returning home on Monday morning.
Indian High Commissioner Santosh Jha personally saw off all the passengers. After this, 104 Indian passengers boarded the Indian Air Force aircraft and reached Thiruvananthapuram at around 6:30 in the morning.
India is continuously running operations to safely rescue these Indians stranded in Sri Lanka due to this storm. The passengers were evacuated in several batches by Indian Air Force flights and now this phase has been successfully completed with the return of the last group.
