Rohtas: Every child’s life should be safe, happy and full of love. An important step has been taken in this direction in Rohtas district of Bihar. District Magistrate of the district, Mrs. Udita Singh completed the international adoption of one year old girl Manvi. This is not only an important initiative towards the bright future of the girl child but also a symbol of the success of child protection and adoption process in Rohtas district. The girl Maanvi, living in Exclusive Adoption Institute, Rohtas, was adopted by a couple from United States of America (Ohio), Nanda Balod and Iron Balod, after completing the legal process. The American couple reached Rohtas via New Delhi and looked happy and emotional on the occasion. He said, “We are very happy to have children. This is the best moment of our life and we will always cherish this moment.”
District Magistrate Udita Singh wished the girl a bright future after adoption and advised the couple to pay special attention to the vaccination, health and overall development of the girl. He said, “Every child should get a safe and loving family, so that they can develop properly. The Child Protection Unit has been directed to work further for the rehabilitation of needy children and their better future so that every child can live his life in a safe environment.
