Muzaffarpur News: Police is seen in action mode in Bihar. A list of 110 mafias has been made in Muzaffarpur. Strict action will be taken against them.

Muzaffarpur: Bihar Home Minister Samrat Chaudhary is in action mode. Since the formation of the new NDA government, they have started taking strict action against the criminals. Mafias across the state have to be controlled. In such a situation, Muzaffarpur Police has made a list of 110 notorious mafias of the district. These include those criminals against whom cases are registered in murder, extortion, illegal land grabbing, liquor smuggling and other serious cases. Police is preparing to take major action against them.
Superintendent of Police Sushil Kumar said that the process of confiscating all the illegal assets of these 110 criminals has been started. This action is being taken under Section 107 of BNSS 107, in which it will be seen whether the property of a criminal has been acquired from crime or from legitimate income. If the court finds justice, their property will be permanently attached. Well-known criminals are already included in this list. Like Chunnu Thakur, Ranjay Omkar, Chhotu Rana, Pappu Sahni and many others. In the first phase, an application has been made in the court to confiscate the property of these four mafias.
Keep a close eye on mafia network
The police have kept an eye not only on the property of these miscreants but also on the property of their family members. Officials say that not only the gang criminals but also their networks and associates will be targeted. This campaign of confiscation of property of criminals related to matters like excise, land, extortion, liquor smuggling, robbery is being carried out in detail in the entire district.
Action will be taken across the state
In Bihar, properties of 1172 criminals have already been identified for confiscation. In this campaign being run under 1249 police stations, establishment of fast-track courts is also being considered, so that there is no delay in hearing of cases.
