Cabbage Farming Tips: Dinesh Sahni of Lagma village of Sitamarhi has increased the production by adopting advanced technology in cabbage farming and has played an important role in including Sitamarhi among the leading districts. He has given some tips for its cultivation, by adopting which farmers can earn better profits.
Sitamarhi: Dinesh Sahni, a progressive farmer from Lagma village of Sitamarhi, cultivates cabbage on a large scale. Due to which this farming becomes easy and profitable with their experience. Dinesh explains that for the cultivation of cabbage, first of all two to three deep plowing of the field is necessary, so that the soil becomes friable. After this, the field is leveled and light irrigation is done, so that the soil becomes soft and becomes suitable for planting. Generally, plants should be planted in the field only after 4-5 days of ploughing, because during this time the field becomes full of moisture and suitable for plants.
