This is how Frugesta started
Swati told, she has worked as a company secretary in many big companies including Tata. But, she wanted to do something of her own from the beginning. Having worked in industries for such a long time, he had good experience in manufacturing. She wanted to do something in food processing. Especially in the agricultural sector, so that the cost can be controlled and something good can be done. Was searching for something for this for a long time. He also bought a land in 2022. He found passion fruit grown in his own farm, which was not grown by anyone in Central India. Its taste was also delicious. It was then that Swati had decided that she had to process it and trade it. After research, it was found that it is harvested every 6 months and it can be grown in Indore under controlled PH.
Swati herself is earning, farmers are also getting work
After this, he started working on it without any delay. Its jam, squash, decoction, juice etc. are made and sold. She even sells fruits. His plan is to keep it in temples also, so that it can reach more people. Based on her experience, Swati knew that if it had to be scaled up, it was not possible without a processing unit. He took help from the government and now one of his process units is also ready. Swati is not only following her passion, but is also providing a healthy and completely organic juice to the people and is also providing employment to many farmers.
