This is how the murder was done…
The incident took place on 14 August 2022 in Dabhra police station area. The debate in the court and the evidence proved that the accused had lured the victim to Bemetara by a new route in the name of getting her the herb for her vitiligo and because the road was closed due to floods. On this pretext, the accused took the girl to Junadih Sajapali forest of Palgada Ghat and tried to have physical relations with her. When the victim did not agree to sexual intercourse, the accused threw her on the ground and hit her on the head with a stone. Put leaves in his mouth. They tied her hands with a scarf and raped her. Then he killed him by cutting his jugular vein with a blade. The villagers had informed the police after finding the dead body.
Shankar already knew the girl
