Smog has created an outcry in Delhi-NCR. Despite all the smoke laws and heavy use of smog guns, the smoke of about 100 cigarettes is filling the lungs of the citizens and making the lungs hollow. This pollution troubles us every year during the winter season. Not only in India but also in two big countries of the world, air pollution is rotting people’s lungs. In one of these countries, smog has made an entire city disappear. Everyone’s eyes will be left teary-eyed after seeing the horrific pictures that have emerged from these countries.
When looking down from the hills of Zaragoza in Bosnia-Herzegovina today, the city was missing. These horrifying pictures of Thursday, December 18, 2025, shocked the whole world, where luxurious houses and buildings have been completely buried under a thick and poisonous blanket of white smog.
People of Delhi, Noida and Gurugram will remember their pain after seeing these pictures of Sarajevo. Just as the wind stops in our winters and the sky becomes a ‘cloud of smoke’, the same scene is happening in Bosnia today, people here are also facing the same pain of burning eyes and suffocating breath.
The geographical location of Bosnia makes it more dangerous than Delhi. Due to being surrounded by hills on all sides, the pollution here is unable to come out, due to which the entire city turns into a ‘gas chamber’. According to experts, this situation of Sarajevo is a fatal combination of poor air quality and geographical structure.

On the other hand, the situation in Beijing, China is also not good. Pictures of smog have emerged from here also. Even in China, the air quality is deteriorating and it has become difficult for people to breathe. The smog spread here has also badly affected the traffic.
This haze over the cities is clearly indicating where the race of modernity and development has brought us. Breathing has become a luxury in high-tech cities. From Beijing to Zaragoza, these images are a sign not just of smog, but of greater environmental disaster to come.
Smog is also being seen in Delhi NCR. This smog is badly affecting the visibility during night and morning. Here AQI has crossed 400 and breathing here too is becoming difficult every day.
