Patna. IAS officers have been transferred on a large scale in Bihar late Thursday evening. In the notification issued by the General Administration Department, important changes have been made in the posts of Commissioners, Divisional Commissioners, Departmental Secretaries and Directors of many districts. At the same time, officers have been appointed in the three new departments that have been formed in Bihar. Secretary of Higher Education Department, a new department created in Bihar, has been appointed. Saran Division Commissioner Rajeev Roshan has been made the Secretary of Higher Education Department of Bihar. New responsibilities have been assigned to IAS officers in three separate orders issued by the government.
These officers were transferred
1. Nilesh Ramchandra Devre (IAS, 2011 batch)
Transferred from the post of Special Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat Department, he has been made Special Secretary, Civil Aviation Department. He will also continue to hold the additional charge of Managing Director, Bihar Medical Services and Infrastructure Corporation Limited.
2. Kaushal Kishore (IAS, 2010 batch)
He has been transferred from Commissioner, Darbhanga Division and appointed Secretary, Youth, Employment and Skill Development Department, Bihar.
3. Avnish Kumar Singh (IAS, 2010 batch)
Commissioner, Munger Division – has been removed and given the additional charge of Commissioner, Bhagalpur Division.
4. Himanshu Kumar Rai (IAS, 2010 batch)
He has been transferred from Commissioner, Bhagalpur Division to the post of Commissioner, Darbhanga Division.
He will also hold the additional charge of Commissioner, Tirhut Division, Muzaffarpur and Saran Division, Chapra.
5. Rajeev Roshan (IAS, 2010 batch)
He has been transferred from Commissioner, Saran Division, Chapra and has been made Secretary, Higher Education Department, Bihar.
6. Ajay Yadav (IAS, 2005 batch)
By relieving him from the post of Secretary in the Prohibition, Excise and Prohibition Department, all his additional charges have been abolished.
