SIR was discussed in the Lok Sabha today. Honorable member Lalji Verma, while speaking on the topic of electoral reforms, threw light on the establishment of democracy and its importance. He also introduced a new formula for getting the SIR done. He said that on attaining the age of 18 years, the name should be compulsorily included in the voter list and after the name of a voter is included, only on his death or on his application that we shift to some other place, the work of removing his name should be done.
