Darbhanga News: The way has been cleared for the construction of a new railway line between Laheriasarai to Saharsa. Indian Railways has released the probable alignment of this project. The cost of the new rail line will be Rs 2376 crore and its distance will be about 95 kilometers.
The way has been cleared for the construction of a new railway line between Laheriasarai and Saharsa. Indian Railways has released the probable alignment of this project and all the formalities related to the construction have almost been completed. Very soon work on this project will also start. Because all the formal processes have been completed.
The cost of this new railway line will be Rs 2376 crore and its distance will be approximately 95 kilometers. Under this project, a high level bridge will also be constructed on the Kosi River, along with 14 major bridges, 41 small bridges and 72 under passes.
Now the journey will be completed in 95 kilometers
A total of 10 new railway stations will also be built on this new railway line. Which will provide convenience to the passengers. At present the distance from Saharsa to Laheriasarai via Mansi, Rosra, Samastipur Junction is 169 kilometers, but now the same distance will be covered from Laheriasarai to Saharsa in about 95 kilometers.
Employment businesses will also increase in many areas
According to the proposed alignment, this new railway line will go from Laheriasarai to Saharsa via Dekuli, Ughra, Khaira, Bithauli, Shankarlohar, Hawidih, Sajanpur, Kanhauli, Kahua, Jagdishpur, Shivnagar Ghat, Ghanshyampur, Rasiyari, Kiratpur, Tarwara, Jamalpur, Musharia via Mahishi and Bangaon. Commuters traveling daily on Saharsa Road from Darbhanga or Lahariya Sarai will benefit the most. Along with economic benefits, they will also save time. Employment and business will also increase in many areas. Many areas will also be renovated due to the new railway line.
