Verma said, ‘They don’t start teaching from day one, they are trained so that they match the standard of those who are already teaching. These fresh graduate trainees are trained in areas like mock sessions, system to ask expert teachers outside the classroom to clear doubts, personal guidance. He said that the trainees are initially given a salary of Rs.6-8 lakh per annum, but after completing the training, they are given a salary ranging from Rs.25 lakh to Rs.50 lakh per annum. A spokesperson for Allen Career Institute said that most of the graduates they have hired as faculty are their alumni. “We hire fresh graduates as trainees and retain them after completion of training.
