UP School Closed News: Cold and thaw are gradually increasing in different districts of Uttar Pradesh. The condition of fog is such that it is impossible to see anything on the road in the morning. In such a situation, school going children are facing difficulties. However, in many districts, for the relief of children, the administration has changed the timing of schools and in some places schools have been closed for a few days.
Lucknow: Cold and thaw are gradually increasing in different districts of Uttar Pradesh. The condition of fog is such that it is impossible to see anything on the road in the morning. In such a situation, school going children are facing difficulties. However, in many districts, for the relief of children, the administration has changed the timing of schools and in some places schools have been closed for a few days. The Meteorological Department says that the temperature will keep decreasing further, due to which the winter will increase rapidly.
Two days school holiday in Sambhal
School holiday has been announced for two days in Sambhal district. In view of fog and cold wave, DM declared holiday on 19th and 20th December. There will be holiday in all the schools of all the boards including those of the Basic Education Council, except the examination schools.
Schools will remain closed in Kasganj also till 20th December
Life has become disrupted in Kasganj district due to the havoc of cold wave and dense fog. Due to severe cold, children are facing difficulty in going to school in the morning, keeping in mind the instructions of District Magistrate Pranav Singh, 19th and 20th December has been declared a holiday due to the cold wave. The Basic Education Officer has issued a letter and given the information.
Schools will remain closed in Kanpur till 20th December
In Kanpur city also, DM has announced closure of schools. Due to severe cold there will be holiday till 20th December. All schools from nursery to 12th will remain closed. Due to the increasing cold wave in Agra district, BSA has declared holiday for classes 1 to 12 on December 19. Guidelines given to all schools. Due to increasing cold wave and cold in Agra, school holiday has been declared.
Schools will remain closed in Jaunpur till 20th December
Due to severe cold wave in Jaunpur district, all schools will remain closed till 20th December. In view of the severe cold, the district officer gave instructions to stop studies in the school from class 1 to class 8. All board schools will remain closed till 19th and 20th December. All teachers of the school were instructed to complete the government work including SIR. Apart from this, due to cold there has been a change in the timings of schools in Gorakhpur. DM gave instructions to open schools from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Timings of schools changed in Prayagraj
In view of cold and fog in Prayagraj district, changes were made in the school timings. In Prayagraj district, schools of all boards up to class eight will operate from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. On the instructions of DM Manish Kumar Verma, BSA Anil Kumar issued the order. This order will be applicable on council primary, upper primary, composite, government, non-government aided, recognized schools, CBSE, ICSE and schools up to class 8 of all boards. BSA has instructed the managers and principals of all schools to ensure strict compliance with this order. This order will remain effective till further instructions.
