Varanasi i.e. Kashi, the city where spirituality flows in every street and there is a touch of faith at every step. Devotees coming here visit the temples, take a dip in the Ganga Ghats and wish to take the sanctity of Devbhoomi home. But here it is believed that taking the wet soil of Kashi or Ganga water home is not considered auspicious. Why is it called this? Is there any spiritual reason behind this or just a folk belief?
