Method of making gram greens
Material:
Gram greens – 500 grams
Onion – 1 big (finely chopped)
Tomato – 2 (finely chopped)
Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tsp
Green chilli – 2
Turmeric – ½ tsp
Red chilli – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Salt – as per taste
Mustard oil – 2 tbsp
Method:
Wash the greens thoroughly and chop them finely.
Heat mustard oil in a pan, add onion and ginger-garlic paste and fry.
Add tomatoes and spices and cook until oil leaves.
Now add greens and cook on low flame for 10-15 minutes.
If you want, you can add some water. After cooking, serve hot.
How to make corn bread
Material:
Corn flour – 2 cups
Lukewarm water – as per need
Salt – a pinch
Method:
Add salt to corn flour and knead it with lukewarm water.
Make a dough and give it the shape of roti by patting it with hands (it is difficult to roll with a rolling pin).
Cook on the pan on medium flame from both the sides.
Apply ghee and serve hot.
How to serve?
Serve gram greens and corn roti together. If there is some ghee on top along with jaggery or lassi, the taste doubles.
