Kejriwal government of Delhi has started taking big decisions from the first week of the new year.
On Wednesday, the Kejriwal government has taken a big decision regarding Delhiites. 1000 more Buses of DTC will be purchased in Delhi. The decision was taken in a meeting of the Board of Directors of Delhi Transport Corporation headed by Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Gehlot.
Delhi government will buy 1000 buses for DTC
The board also approved insurance money for maintenance for 12 years at a rate of 7,50,000 km per bus. These BS -VI standard compliant, air-conditioned buses will be equipped with real time, passenger information system, CCTV, panic buttons, GPS and other facilities. Proper facilities will also be available for physically challenged people in these buses.
In this meeting, the DTC board approved the funds for the purchase of 1000 AC low floor CNG buses.
DTC employees gratuity amount also increased
Please tell that on Monday, another important decision related to the welfare of DTC employees was also taken. The board approved raising the limit of gratuity amount of DTC employees from the current Rs 10 lakh to Rs 20 lakh. This step will benefit all DTC employees and will also increase their retirement benefits.

Transport Minister said this
After this decision, Transport Minister Kailash Gehlot said, ‘We have approved the purchase of 1000 low floor CNG buses as well as funds for Comprehensive Annual Maintenance of these buses. This step will help in increasing the efficiency of buses, as well as increasing passenger comfort will make travel more smooth.
