Ingredients for making Jackfruit Korma
Jackfruit boiled – 1/2 kg
Onion finely chopped – 2
Tomato paste – 4 tbsp
Ginger-garlic paste – 2 tsp
Butter – 2 tsp
Red chili powder – 1 tsp
Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala – 1/2 tsp
Kasuri methi – 2 tsp
Bay leaves – 2
Cumin – 1 tsp
Salt – as per taste
Sugar – 1 tsp

How to make Jackfruit Korma
To make Jackfruit Korma, first take a pan and put oil in it and keep it on the gas to heat. When the oil becomes hot, add cumin seeds to it. When cumin starts crackling, add chopped onion and bay leaf and fry it. When the color of the onion starts to turn light brown, then add ginger-garlic paste and mix it well. Fry it for about five minutes. Now add red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala and cook it while stirring for about 2 minutes.
Add tomato paste to this mixture and fry all the spices well. When the oil of the gravy starts coming up, then it is a sign that the masala is well roasted. Now add butter and fry it for two to three minutes. When the masala leaves the oil, add kasoori fenugreek, salt, sugar and mix it well. Now put the jackfruit already boiled in this gravy and mix the spices well with the jackfruit.
Now put one and a half cups of water in it and cover the pan and let it cook on high flame for about five minutes.

After five minutes, open the lid and check whether the jackfruit korma is cooked well or not. Switch off the gas when korma is cooked. In this way your delicious jackfruit korma is ready. You can also garnish it with coriander leaves before serving.
