Bangalore. Congress has started exerting power regarding the Karnataka assembly elections. Here on Monday, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi attacked the BJP government by holding a rally. At a rally organized by the Mahila Congress in Bengaluru, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra attacked the BJP government one after the other and said, ‘I want to ask a question, has your life improved in the BJP government? Has anything changed in your life? Before voting, look at the last few years and evaluate your life. What has the BJP given you after assuming power?
Addressing the rally, Priyanka Gandhi said that ‘I have been told that the situation in Karnataka is very bad. 1.5 lakh crore has been lost due to corruption. PSI scam is really shameful. You educate your children and this is what you get from the leaders sitting in power.
In the rally, Priyanka Gandhi also announced many promises when the Congress comes to power. Priyanka Gandhi said that if the Congress forms the government in Karnataka, then the housewives will be given Rs 2000 per month to run the household expenses. Along with this, Priyanka Gandhi also promised to give 200 units of electricity free.

With the rally of Priyanka Gandhi in Bengaluru, the political temperature in Karnataka has started rising. Assembly elections are going to be held here this year. The BJP is pushing to retain power here and the Congress has already started placing its pieces to put up a stronger performance than last time. Even after Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra, Congress leaders are seen active due to creation of atmosphere in favor of Congress here.
Congress fell after forming the government in 2018
No party got a majority in the 2018 Karnataka assembly elections. After the elections, Congress formed the government with JDS, although later many Congress MLAs left the party and joined BJP and BJP formed the government in the state. Randeep Surjewala, the general secretary in-charge of Karnataka, is also planning a strategy for the party by holding frequent meetings in Karnataka. Karnataka’s state unit has held big rallies in Hubli, Bijapur and Chitradurga in the recent past, on the other hand, Congress’ Praja Dhvani Yatra is going on from Belgaum since January 11.
