Professor Vinod Tare, senior professor of IIT Kanpur and founder of Sea Ganga, has prepared an atlas of rivers. Know what is special in Atlas?
Actually there are many such rivers of Uttar Pradesh, which are losing their existence. Some are on the verge of extinction. At the same time, the contaminated water of some has remained as a stain on them, but now the rivers have found a way to a new life due to the exercise started by IIT Kanpur. Professor Tare has prepared a complete atlas of more than 50 rivers spread over 70 thousand square kilometers inside Uttar Pradesh. After this, work will be done to save these rivers in collaboration with various departments.
