According to Dr. Mukesh Srivastava, mushroom production is becoming a better option of employment in today’s time. This work can be started in less space, less water and less capital and if done properly, good profits are also obtained. This training program is for about six days. In this, every small and big thing related to mushroom cultivation is being explained in easy and common language. During the training, the participants are being told how mushrooms are grown, which variety is more beneficial and which mushroom is better in which season. Special information is being given on varieties like Button Mushroom, Oyster Mushroom and Milky Mushroom, so that people can produce as per their convenience and market demand.
Practical along with theory
The biggest feature of this training is that here it is not just about books, but full emphasis is also given on practical training. Participants are taught how to prepare their own spawn, make beds, monitor temperature and humidity, and protect mushrooms from diseases.
