Can appeal to Supreme Court, less scope for reliefAccording to the law of South Korea, only a sentence of three years or less can be dismissed. If someone is incarcerated for a long time, then he has to complete his sentence. Lee’s sentence of two-and-a-half years in prison can be reduced by his time in the detention center. It is possible that the Seoul High Court’s decision will be challenged in the Supreme Court. In this case, legal experts believe that the Supreme Court has already heard the verdict once in this case. In such a situation, now there is little scope for change in the decision of the High Court.
