Which helps in reducing the pain caused by gas in the body, stiffness of muscles and swelling of joints. The doctor told that in olden times medicines were not so prevalent. At that time people used hawthorn as a home remedy and its effect was so good that even today rural communities use it with confidence. The method of using hawthorn is also very easy. Just a little caution is necessary. First of all, the hawthorn is carefully plucked from the plant. So that the thorns do not prick the hand, after this all the thorns are removed thoroughly with the help of a knife.

When the hawthorn is cleaned, it is heated on a hot pan by applying a little oil. When heated, the medicinal juices present within it get activated and when applied on the skin, it helps in soothing the pain rapidly. Dr. Paroha says that heated hawthorn should be tied and applied on the back pain, knee pain, back pain, shoulder pain or any other place where pain is occurring, it takes away the pain within some time.

It also reduces swelling, villagers often apply it before sleeping at night. Which provides a lot of relief till morning. In many villages of tribal areas, elders still believe in this indigenous pain relief method. Doctor Parouha says that this traditional remedy of hawthorn is not only economical but also because it is completely natural, it does not have any side effects.

Doctor Parouha explains that hawthorn has antiseptic as well as anti-inflammatory properties. Grinding hawthorn leaves well and applying it on the joints cures swelling in the joints. It also provides relief from burning sensation and pain in joints. After grinding the thorns and leaves of hawthorn well and making powder and applying it on the pimples, it will cure in one to two days, after which it can be cleaned. People who have badi piles, it does not work in building piles, Hawthorn should not be used in building piles, those who have badi piles which have poor quality.
