Success Story: Surabhi Singh of MIT College, Muzaffarpur has been selected for the post of Executive Officer in HPCL. He will get an annual package of Rs 17.5 lakh. Due to which there is a wave of happiness in the college and family. Surbhi tells that the worst phase of her life came when she worked hard for JEE MENS after completing 12th. He had thought that this time he would definitely get a good NIT college, but he did not get a rank worthy of that. After this she became quite demotivated.
Surabhi Singh, a student of MIT College, Muzaffarpur, has been selected for the post of Executive Officer in Hindustan Petrol Corporation Limited (HPCL). He will get an annual package of Rs 17.5 lakh. Surbhi will go to Pune for training on 15th December. There is a wave of happiness in the college due to this news. Principal Dr. Mithlesh Jha congratulated Surbhi and wished her a bright future. Deepak Kumar Choudhary, in-charge of Training and Placement Department, said that this success of Surbhi is an inspiration for other students and they should learn from this achievement.
Surbhi’s father Shailendra Kumar is a manager in Punjab National Bank. His mother Ranjana Kumari is a housewife. Surbhi is the eldest among her three siblings. She is a resident of Patna. Surbhi studied till 10th class from DAV Public School, Jehanabad, then took admission in a private college in Patna for 12th class studies. After 12th, he passed JEE Mains examination and took admission in Mechanical Engineering in MIT College, Muzaffarpur for the session 2020 to 2024. During college, he got placement in a private company in Noida on a package of Rs 4 lakh, but he left it and started preparing for GATE. Despite clearing GATE in the first attempt, admission was not taken. After qualifying GATE for the second time, she became eligible for admission in IIT Roorkee but still kept preparing for the job without taking admission. After one year of hard work, Surbhi was selected for the post of Executive Officer in Hindustan Petrol Corporation Limited (HPCL).

Surbhi tells that whenever she was demotivated, her mother was the biggest contributor. Mother used to explain everything like a friend and Surbhi also used to share everything with her like a friend. Surbhi tells that she was very interested in science since childhood and she used to relate everything to science. He also got inspiration to enter the field of engineering from his father. Surabhi says that she has achieved this success due to online sources and self-study.

Surbhi tells that the goal was always clear since childhood and the support of the family was always there. The family stood with us even in every bad situation. Father always used to say that dream big and work hard honestly, success will definitely come one day. Surbhi says that people think of boys when they hear the name of mechanical engineer, but I chose it and remained the topper in the class. I broke this thinking and achieved my goal. Being a girl, there are many challenges in life, but they prove to be weak in front of strong goals and determination.
Surbhi gives a message to other students that first of all keep your goal clear and work honestly for it, success will definitely be achieved. In today’s time, money is not a hindrance in studies. If you really want to do something, there are many options available. Today everything is available online, so preparation can be done easily sitting at home. Surbhi gives credit for this success to her parents and teachers.
