He is preparing pure honey from different flowers like mustard, litchi, banatulsi and sesame. Used to work in a factory in Gujarat
Rampravesh Kumar tells that till a few years ago he used to work in a honey factory in Gujarat. There he closely observed the intricacies of honey production and learned everything from beekeeping to the method of extracting honey. Also, he understood the entire process of cleaning, packing and maintaining its quality there. While working in the factory, the thought came to his mind that if the same work was done in his village, he would not only get employment. Rather, others may also get the opportunity.
Started business with 50 boxes
In the year 2019, Rampravesh Kumar decided to turn his dream into reality. He initially started beekeeping in his village with just 50 boxes. The beginning was not easy. He had to face all these challenges like lack of resources, lack of market knowledge and people’s doubts, but he did not give up and gradually moved forward with his work.
Following in 200 boxes
Today Rampravesh Kumar is doing beekeeping in 200 boxes. Where according to different seasons and crops they prepare mustard honey, litchi honey, banatulsi honey and sesame honey. Let us tell you that the taste and quality of every type of honey is different, which people are liking a lot. The most important thing is that this honey is completely natural and pure.
There is a crowd of honey buyers
Ram Pravesh says that if proper arrangement and recognition of the market is achieved, then good profits can be earned from beekeeping. As of now, they have not been able to fully establish a hold in the markets of big cities, but despite this, they make good sales at the local level. Rampravesh believes that beekeeping is a business which can be started at low cost. With this the income of farmers can be increased. Today Ram Pravesh has become an inspiration for the youth. If one has the right training, hard work and patience, a successful business can be set up even while living in a village. His journey proves that going to the city in search of employment is not the only way.
