New Delhi. Another golden opportunity is coming for the young professionals of India. India and Britain are launching the Young Professionals Scheme, which will allow Indian citizens aged 18-30 with a degree to live and work in the UK for two years. This scheme is being started from 28 February. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) issued a statement in this regard after the 15th India-UK Foreign Office Consultations (FOC) held in Delhi.

According to the released statement, this UK-India Young Professional Scheme will allow 3,000 degree holders from India aged 18 to 30 years to live and work in the UK for two years. Only people in the age group of 18 to 30 years will be eligible to apply in this scheme. This scheme will allow UK professionals to live and work in India. This is an interactive program. This scheme will start from March 2023. A job offer is not required to apply for a visa.

The scheme will be effective for three years from March 2023
High Commissioner Vikram Doraiswami has told that this scheme will be valid for 3 years and will be effective from March 2023. Under this, citizens of India and Britain can go to visit, study or work in each other’s country for two years. Both countries will exchange 3,000 candidates. Vikram Doraiswamy said that there is no need for a job offer to apply for this visa.
