According to a Rubrik Zero Labs report, nearly 90 percent of Indian organizations are planning to hire dedicated professionals to manage digital identity management, infrastructure and security in the next 12 months. According to the report, due to the increasing use of Artificial Intelligence (AI), AI based systems and agents are also increasing rapidly in companies. Due to this, along with human identification, the number of identification of machines and software is also increasing very rapidly.
Preparation to deal with threats
According to the report, due to cyber attacks, technical heads of companies like CIOs and CISOs are paying more attention to identity-related cyber attacks and preparations to deal with them. The report titled ‘Identity Crisis: Understanding and Building Resilience against Identity-Driven Threats’ states that due to this situation, Chief Information Officers (CIOs) and Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) are now paying immediate attention to identity-related threats and ways to recover from them. This report has been prepared by Wakefield Research on the basis of a survey among 1,625 IT security officers of companies with 500 or more employees.
Increasing demand for cyber security
Along with promoting digitalization in the country, the dangers associated with it are also being felt. This is the reason why the position of jobs related to cyber security is continuously getting stronger and the demand for professionals in this field is also increasing. According to an estimate, about 35 lakh jobs are likely to be created in this sector in the last few years. This demand is increasing much faster than other sectors.
