Famous Personality: Today we are going to talk about a person who once used to work as a journalist at a salary of Rs 230 but today is worth more than Rs 13 thousand crores. This is the story of senior Indian industrialist Ravindra Kishore Sinha.
Ravindra Kishore Sinha was born on 22 September 1951 in Buxar district of Bihar. Father used to work in the Legislative Assembly in Patna. Later the family moved from Buxar to Bahiyara in Arrah. RK Sinha is not only an industrialist but also a journalist, politician, social worker, writer and farmer. Their activity is seen in every field. He is also counted among the founding members of BJP.
He started his journey from the capital Patna. He lived with his father in Patna and along with his studies, he also worked here. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in Politics and Law. In the initial days, Pradeep used to work as a war correspondent in Bihar’s leading newspaper Search Light.
He was known for his sharp writing. He also reported during the India-Pakistan war in 1971. After this he wrote many articles against Indira Gandhi. Because of his writing, he was fired from his job. At that time his salary was Rs 230.

After the war, many young soldiers had to leave the army due to minor disabilities, which caused them pain. After being fired from the job, he decided to change his fortunes and progressed so much that around 3 lakh people are working in his company.
He established Security and Intelligence Services (India) Limited (SIS) in a garage in Patna with the aim of providing employment to the soldiers. Initially, he deployed 14 retired army personnel as personal guards at the buildings of his builder friend at a monthly salary of Rs 400.
With the inspiration of JP, the company was established in 1974 and made a private limited in 1985. This is a journey of 50 years that started in 1974. Today it is providing permanent jobs to more than 3 lakh people. Its turnover is more than Rs 13000 crore. The company is present in every corner of the country. It also has branches in New Zealand and Australia.
RK Sinha has direct and indirect contribution in about 200 companies. There are 40 such companies which have their own owners. They have cooperation with other companies. He has also been a Rajya Sabha MP from BJP. His son Rituraj Sinha is also a BJP leader and is carrying on his father’s legacy.
