Srinagar. A shameful incident has come to light from Bishnah village of Jammu and Kashmir. The person of the village made the daughter of a laborer a victim of lust. Haiwan raped the 19-year-old victim and then also made a video of her. In order to silence the victim, the accused also blackmailed her by posting her video on social media.

Fed up, the 19-year-old victim lodged a complaint with the police station, after which the accused is absconding. In the complaint by the victim, it was said that the accused person Sahil, who is also a resident of Bishnah village, forcibly raped the victim and later made a video of her. Accused Sahil also blackmailed the girl by capturing her videos and pictures and uploading them on Instagram.

On getting the information, an FIR was lodged in the regional police station. The search for the accused was started by registering a case against the accused under sections 376, 504, 506, 67 (A) of the IPC and the IT Act. With technical assistance and strenuous efforts, the police arrested the accused Sahil and he has been sent on police remand for further action.
