When will JEE Advanced 2026 exam be held?
IIT Roorkee has announced the official date of JEE Advanced 2026. The examination will be conducted on Sunday, May 17, 2026. This examination will be conducted in two compulsory papers in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode at various centers across the country.
Paper 1: From 9:00 am to 12:00 noon.
Paper 2: From 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
The duration of each paper will be 3 hours i.e. the total examination will be of 6 hours. It is mandatory for the candidates to appear in both the papers.
JEE Advanced 2026 Eligibility: Who can appear for JEE Advanced exam?
To appear in JEE Advanced 2026, candidates will first have to appear for JEE Main 2026 examination. Not only this, it is also important to get rank among the top 2.5 lakh successful candidates in this examination. National Testing Agency (NTA) has already announced JEE Main 2026 dates:
Session 1: 21 January to 30 January 2026
Session 2: 1 April to 10 April 2026
