Ayodhya News: There is a wave of mourning in Ayodhya for the last two days. After the death of Dr. Vedanti, his last tribute was paid today. CM Yogi also took part in this condolence tribute. Devotees paid their last respects by showering flowers at various places. The atmosphere became emotional amidst the chanting of Ram Dhun and “Jai Shri Ram”.
Dr. Vedanti’s last journey started from Hindu Dham residence, from where the journey started for the city tour. A large number of saints, mahants, devotees, followers and local citizens participated during the yatra. Devotees paid their last respects by showering flowers at various places. The atmosphere became emotional amidst the chanting of Ram Dhun and “Jai Shri Ram”.
The last journey reached the main road via Janaki Mahal and then passed through Ram Path. The Yatra was specifically stopped in front of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, where Dr. Vedanti was given the last darshan of Ram Lalla. This scene was extremely emotional, because Dr. Vedanti’s life was deeply connected with the Ram Mandir movement. After this, Yatra was also given darshan of Hanumanth Lala.
The feeling of reverence along with mourning was clearly visible in every corner of the city. Sant Samaj and devotees remembered the contribution of Dr. Vedanti by calling him a strong pillar of Sanatan Dharma.

The last journey reached Sant Tulsidas Ghat on the banks of Saryu, where he was given water samadhi amid the chanting of Vedic mantras. During this, the entire ghat echoed with slogans of “Jai Shri Ram”. The eyes of the crowd present remained moist.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also reached and paid tribute to Dr. Ramvilas Das Vedanti. Many VVIPs, senior saints, Mahants and religious leaders were also present with him. Everyone described Dr. Vedanti as a devotee of Ram, an ascetic and a nationalist saint and described his demise as an irreparable loss.
Ramnagari today bid farewell to one of its great saints with tearful eyes. According to saint tradition, Dr. Ramvilas Das Vedanti has been given water samadhi in Saryu. During this time, it seemed as if there was peace in the entire city of Ayodhya and there was an atmosphere of mourning all around.
