ITC, a company that does business from FMCG to hotels and cigarettes, has given this information in a regulatory filing. The company had a profit of Rs 3,921.81 crore in the same period last year. Its revenue from operations stood at Rs 14,124.48 crore during October-December 2020. It was Rs 13,307.54 crore in the year-ago period.

ITC announces Rs 5 per share interim dividend
The company has announced an interim dividend of Rs 5 per share. The board of ITC on Thursday declared an interim dividend of Rs 5 per share for the current financial year and will be paid on March 10, 2021 to the members who are entitled to it.

ITC’s net profit was down 18 percent in the second quarter
Earlier, the company’s integrated net profit fell 18.23 percent to Rs 3,413.44 crore in the second quarter of July-September of the current financial year 2020-21. The company had said that earlier in the second quarter of the financial year 2019-20, it had a net profit of Rs 4,174.69 crore.
