New Delhi. A woman from the capital Delhi has filed a case against her male partner for compensation of Rs 3 crore. The Delhi High Court has given the date of April 20 for the hearing of this matter. This man was in a relationship with her for the last 5 years and had always been promising that he would marry the woman, but the man kept it a secret that he was actually married. The matter came to light from the post of the man’s wife on social media and now the Delhi High Court has issued a notice to the accused Kaustav Dey for cheating and fraudulent behaviour.
As per information, both men and women are IIM educated and well established executives from different IIMs. They met in 2016 at a European university exchange program and continued their relationship when they returned to India. The male accomplice had met the woman’s family several times in Delhi and had assured that he wanted to marry the woman. Here, after some time both of them also went to Mumbai and worked there, after some time the male Kaustav Dey went to Bangalore for a job in a start up company. Kaustav Dey married a girl of his family’s choice in 2019 and since then he started living a parallel life. While in Bangalore he was with his wife, in Mumbai he was spending time with his female companion and her friends. He kept the matter of his marriage hidden from the female partner and her friends.
The accused continued to meet the woman and her family
The plaintiff woman told that between 2019 and 2021, while traveling from Bengaluru to Delhi and Mumbai, Kaustav kept meeting her family continuously and kept expressing confidence that he would marry the woman. The plaintiff woman told that in August 2021 she came to know that Kaustav is married. Actually a common friend of the woman had informed about this. He saw in the social media post that Kaustav’s wife had posted a photo and tagged him. The woman said that when she asked Kaustav about her marriage and showed her the photo, she accepted that she was married in 2019.
After knowing the truth, the woman’s condition worsened and she had to undergo treatment.
The plaintiff woman says that Kaustav has cheated her by cheating and cheating. During this relationship, he caused financial loss in the form of expenses, but the plaintiff woman also suffered severe mental agony and hardship. After this serious incident, the woman’s condition deteriorated and she had to undergo treatment. The important time of a woman’s life, marriageable age has also been affected. The plaintiff woman says that Kaustav has accepted his mistake.
do not want rape or criminal prosecution
The woman says that she does not want to rape or criminally prosecute Kaustav, because the woman was in a true relationship, even though its foundation was based on lies. He said that knowing everything Kaustav has played with my life and career and now he wants to run away quietly.
